On top of it all, this was forced on us at 530pm in the middle of dinner, then none of our guests info was in the system. The backend stuff is also a pain, you really have to go in and set it up perfectly or else it effects your whole system. Now just to seat someone you have to click 5 times. Also, taking away the double tap feature to go right to seating a table is a big mistake. I don’t use half the stuff on the left bar, let me remove it please. Also, the app should be more customizable. I get they want everyone’s information but let me make the reservation without it if I so choose. Also it forces you to get a phone number and sometimes you’re just putting a quick reservation in. It just auto assigns and has no selection option. The biggest pain so far after just a couple days is the inability to pick our own table to use when making a new reservation. So, for week 3 of this One Room Challenge I broke down my process for creating mudroom uppers and bases. STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO LAUNDRY BASKET STORAGE Michael is going to break down for you how he built these, incase you’re looking to create something like this for your laundry room at home! We used these baskets, simple and perfect. On the other side, we went with these seagrass wicker baskets for additional storage. Knowing laundry can become a messy situation we designed one cabinet to house 3 laundry baskets. From there, Michael sketched and built custom cabinets for either side to complete the space. This also allowed us to plan and build a custom folding top…and it is massive! The next thing we did was center the washer and dryer in the window. By doing this you can actually see out the window! That’s a win in my book for sure, the more natural light the better. We wanted to create a space that allowed for as much function as possible without becoming overcrowded…you know, seeing as this space is going to be used as an entryway, mudroom/storage space, laundry room and command center. To start, we took the washer and dryer off the pedestals. This week we’ve been busy working on the overall look and feel of the laundry room area. Michael and I worked together to really maximize every inch of the space to meet the needs of this growing family! If you haven’t had a chance to see where we started make sure to check out where we came from! What I love about this space so much is that it’s going to have multiple purposes and functions going on at the same time…and a whole lot of design. If it wasn’t you wouldn’t be able to read this ? What Does Crate Training Help With?Ī properly crate-trained pup can enjoy privacy and security in a place all of their own whenever they’re stressed or tired. This includes peeing, pooping, chewing, playing too rough, and even hurting themselves. Leaving your puppy unattended in rooms and not following a crate training puppy schedule will most likely result in them indulging in unwanted behaviors. As they learn to hold their bladder while inside their comfy crates, you’re saved from cleaning up those messy accidents. And these qualities will allow you to enjoy their company with total peace of mind.Ī Maltese puppy coming out of an open white and orange plastic crate beside a blue sweater What Happens if You Don’t Crate Train?Įveryone from breeders and trainers to veterinarians recommends crate training when you’re trying to teach your dog the difference between their potty spot and your expensive rug! It’s an essential part of the housebreaking process and works because dogs don’t like soiling where they sleep. You’ll find that your dog becomes more secure and feels safer in their surroundings if you stick to it. Puppies, adult animals, and even senior pets will benefit from a crate training schedule if you follow it properly. A crate plays into your dog’s natural instinct to seek out a comfortable, quiet, safe place when they’re feeling overwhelmed and can be introduced at any age, although the younger you start, the better. Your doggy will end up loving its enclosed space and it will help calm anxieties- for both of you! Why Is Crate Training Important?Ĭrate training is one of the best ways to make sure that puppies don't spend their time chewing on everything in sight and peeing all over the place. Everyone wants a well-behaved pup that doesn't tear up whatever’s around them or pee and poop inside. A crate training schedule will help them learn what to do in their den and what to avoid. Think of it as teaching your dog how to use a den substitute. It’s the process of teaching your new pet to accept this space as a familiar, safe location. In spite of this, coyotes sometimes mate with gray, eastern, or red wolves, producing " coywolf" hybrids. Humans are the coyote's greatest threat, followed by cougars and gray wolves. Its characteristic vocalization is a howl made by solitary individuals. Primarily carnivorous, its diet consists mainly of deer, rabbits, hares, rodents, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates, though it may also eat fruits and vegetables on occasion. It is highly flexible in social organization, living either in a family unit or in loosely knit packs of unrelated individuals. Their fur color is predominantly light gray and red or fulvous interspersed with black and white, though it varies somewhat with geography. The average male weighs 8 to 20 kg (18 to 44 lb) and the average female 7 to 18 kg (15 to 40 lb). The coyote was sighted in eastern Panama (across the Panama Canal from their home range) for the first time in 2013. The species is versatile, able to adapt to and expand into environments modified by humans urban coyotes are common in many cities. The coyote is listed as least concern by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, due to its wide distribution and abundance throughout North America. Other historical names for the species include the prairie wolf and the brush wolf. The coyote is larger and more predatory and was once referred to as the American jackal by a behavioral ecologist. It fills much of the same ecological niche as the golden jackal does in Eurasia. It is smaller than its close relative, the wolf, and slightly smaller than the closely related eastern wolf and red wolf. Whiskers are sensitive like a human’s fingertips cats can stick their whiskers out front to help them feel their way around in the dark. Whiskers also help animals find their way. While fishing in the river, a raccoon is dependent on its sense of touch rather than sight to reach in the water and find fish to eat. Touch: Many animals use this sense to help them “see” in the night. Animals use their nose to track the scents and find dinner. Smells linger in the air for longer at night since the air is more still. Smell: Generally speaking, night animals have a better sense of smell than day animals. Nocturnal animals must have special senses in order to find their way, hunt their food, and flee predators. Many nocturnal animals are black or grey, and they are camouflaged at night. Many adventures are had by Captain Hook as he travels the seas pursuing Peter Pan, the boy who would never grow up and friends, Wendy and Tinkerbell. With an iron hook for a hand, his biggest fear is the "Tick Tock" of the clock that lives inside the belly of the crocodile - his constant predator. Captain Hook is the antagonist in "Return to Neverland" (2002) and "Jake and The Neverland Pirates" (2011-2016), as well as cartoons and stories dating back in time to 1953. The comical Walt Disney Villain, Captain Hook is the Pirate Captain of his Ship, ‘'he Jolly Roger' and archenemy of Peter Pan, from the classic fairy tale by J M Barrie. Leave me a comment below letting me know what your family is dressing up as for Halloween.Disney Captain Hook Child Boys Dress Up Costume - Size 3-4 Yrs So I love this one of Tick Tock Croc having Captain Hook hiding up a tree. We had a lot of fun with this year’s costumes and we had to play around during our photos. Now, I did feel like the Goof’s costume was missing something, so I did go ahead and sew up a quick jabot or dickie (I am not sure which is the correct term). Be sure to check out the Peter Pan Costume Tutorial as well. This costume is so simple but turned out so great! I love that both these costumes have no-sew options and are pretty affordable. I added on the hook from the dollar store. To complete the Captain Hook Costume I had my son wear a white shirt, black sweats that were a few sizes too small and had elastic at the bottom, long crew socks, and black dress shoes. You can buy a big huge feather if you can find one but I didn’t find one at the first two craft stores I went to so instead, I bought a bag of smaller ones, I used small white rubberbands to help gather them before gluing them on. I used the feathers to help hide the seams on the front of the hat. Use the hot glue gun to attach some gold braided ribbon around the rim.įinally, I used hot glue to attach the feathers. Definitely not perfect, but it all works out. Mine is very loosly wrapped on there, and several seams are visible, but you will hide those later. Next, cover the hat in your red felt/flannel using the spray adhesive. If you want to be able to better shape the other side of the brim, you can put some wire on there as well, but I found after covering in felt, mine was fine without it. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but kind of get it in a semi smooth shape. Measure how much wire you need and use your hot glue gun to attach it to the hat. In order to achieve this look I used some wire to extend the brim on side. If you look at Captain Hook’s hat, one side of the brim is much taller than the other. Her hat was soft and bendable, but if you have a stiff straw hat, soak it in water for 12 hours to help it soften before working with it. What is a captain without his hat? My moms had a straw hat that she gave us to make the hat out of. You are done with the jacket! Captain Hook Costume- The Hat If you want, you can then run ribbon around the back and attach it with fabric glue as well. If you have ribbon that frays, be sure to tuck the edges under creating a “hem” of sorts.Īfter you run ribbon on both sides, create a collar by folding the top over and using fabric glue to hold it down. Then use fabric glue to attach ribbon all the way up each side, and then back down the inside 1/3 of the way down. To start, simply cut a line straight up the front middle of your long sleeve shirt. From these varied trees, Christmas tree nurseries must select varieties to propagate based on the climate of their region and the type of farms that they will be selling to.įresh cut tree farms are generally large farms that grow trees that are cut in large numbers and sold to wholesalers who sell them to local stores and Christmas tree lots. The White fir is native to California and the Southwestern mountains of the U.S. The Canaan fir is native to the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. The Balsam fir is native to the northeastern U.S. The Noble, Douglas, and Grand firs are both native to the northwest of the U.S. The White spruce is native to the north-central U.S. The Colorado Blue Spruce is native to Colorado and Utah. In addition to these, the Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga Menziesii) is also commonly used as a Christmas tree, but it is not a true fir. The most common of these species are classified in one of four genera: pines (genus Pinus), spruces (genus Picea), firs (genus Abies), and cypress (genus Cupressa). That "everything but the kitchen sink" philosophy appears to be what Logitech ran with when designing the G502 Lightspeed. So, if it wasn't going to be light anyway, why not just make it as feature-packed as possible and let it retain its extra weight system for the niche users that still preferred it? It just has too many buttons, too many switches, and too many features to allow the sort of hollow, simplistic constructions that let mice such as Logitech's G Pro X Superlight achieve weights like 63g. So, why did Logitech retain what appears to be such an outdated feature? The most likely answer is that the G502 Lightspeed was never going to be a lightweight mouse.
