In 1989, local logger Pete Martell discovers a naked corpse wrapped in plastic on the bank of a river outside the town of Twin Peaks, Washington. Season one of Twin Peaks focuses on the mystery of who killed Laura Palmer (played by Sheryl Lee, pictured in 1990). The 2017 revival also received widespread critical acclaim. ![]() It is considered a landmark turning point in television drama. Twin Peaks is often listed among the greatest television series of all time and has received universal acclaim from critics and audiences. In the years following the first two seasons, the show gained a devoted cult following and became referenced in a wide variety of media. The show's 2017 revival saw many of the original cast return, with Lynch directing. The initial success of the series sparked a media franchise, leading to the release of several tie-in books, including The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer. ![]() The original run was followed by the 1992 feature film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, which serves as a prequel to the series. The score was composed by Angelo Badalamenti with Lynch. Like much of Lynch's work, it is distinguished by surrealism, offbeat humor, and distinctive cinematography. The show's narrative draws on elements of detective fiction, but its uncanny tone, supernatural elements, and campy, melodramatic portrayal of eccentric characters also draws from American soap opera and horror tropes. The series follows an investigation, headed by FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper ( Kyle MacLachlan) and local Sheriff Harry S. Truman ( Michael Ontkean), into the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer ( Sheryl Lee) in the fictional town of Twin Peaks, Washington. The show returned in 2017 for a third season on Showtime. It premiered on ABC on April 8, 1990, and originally ran for two seasons until its cancellation in 1991. Twin Peaks is an American mystery serial drama television series created by Mark Frost and David Lynch. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992 film) Probably hit their shoulder or something. Also if you hit 27 in 1 you shot and hit too low. But again this is depending what angle it is. What i do is generally juggle peek an angle im holding. people learn spots people hold from and prefire them or pre aim them, so its not always a good idea to just be sat holding an angle. THis is another thing playing at high level on faceit like 8+. what they will actually be doing is stutter stepping, so they will wide peek to get past your crosshair, aim roughly where they think you will be head height, then they will stutter step to stop themselves and headshot you. Now perhaps not so much at lower rank, but it looks like they sprint and kill you. Remember you have to account for your reaction time. On those angles you need to have your crosshair head height, but not directly on the corner. More than likely, assuming no flashes are used, someone is going to try wide peeking. Now if im holding something like top bannana as a ct on inferno. ![]() Is a basic csgo skill theory.īasically, Depending on what angle your holding will dictate where you have your crosshair, For example, If your holding tunnel on dust from b, looking all the way down, Chances are someone is going to try jiggle peeking so my crosshair WANTS TO BE CLOSE to the wall so i can hit them. What everyone is missing here, trying to put it on ping/resolution and all the rest of that crap. At my peek I was LEM and now I can't break out of Nova 3. Maybe I'm just getting too old to be good at CS anymore. Probably the past year or so it's been like this - and nothing has changed, I've had the same PC and the same ISP the entire time. I understand peekers advantage, and I would like to say that I've played CS:GO since beta, and I've never had this much of an issue holding an angle until recently. I don't play on stretched res, although I've tried in the past, my rate is the max (768xxx whatever it is), and my internet speed can accommodate that (and I have tried lowering it to 128000 just to make sure I wasn't getting weird choke that didn't show on net_graph), my cl_interp_ratio is set to 1 (i've tried 2 also), cl_interp is set at 0 (so the minimum value is automatically set), and update rate and cmd rate are set automatically at 128 or 64 depending on the server, like I said in the OP I never have choke or loss, at least not shown on the net graph, and I never feel myself lagging or stuttering, just seems like what I'm seeing is always significantly behind the server/people are moving much faster than they should.
